Who are we? Well... that's a great question!
St.John Designz creates, builds, and showcases unique custom guitars. We either create our guitars from scratch using Warmoth guitar bodies and necks, or refinish existing guitars and turn them into works of art. Looking for a new guitar? Something special? We’ve probably got it. Looking for a custom designed guitar or have an idea you'd like to see come to life? We will be happy to work with you to create the exact guitar you are looking for.
Our fun little workshop nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Why? Well, if you have to ask that, then you’ve never seen the Blue Ridge Mountains. We adore it here which is why you will find images of the Blue Ridge scattered across our site.
The “we” I speak of consists of my hubby, Noel, and myself, Connie. Hi and welcome to our site. I am a wood worker, graphic designer, artist, and Noel is an incredible artist as well as a trained luthier. He has been playing drums since he was 14 and heads-up our drum line while I manage our custom guitars. Together we we make a great team!

What else do we do? Well, not only do we make custom guitars, we also design custom drum kits on our sister site, St.John Studioz. Know a drummer looking for the perfect kit? Send them our way! As with guitars, there’s not much we can’t do with drums. We either build our kits from scratch using quality Keller wood shells, or RCI Starlite for precision acrylic shells, or we find vintage kits and give them a facelift, so to speak. You can purchase anything you see on this site, from the kits, to the cymbals, to the hardware, in any combination. Our goal is to provide you with exactly what you need.
